PURPOSE
To recognize outstanding and exceptional service by classified employees and/or professional faculty within the College of Agricultural Sciences at Oregon State University. Specifically, those employees who make our programs and efforts successful.
NATURE
Up to four (4) recipients will be selected. Recipients will receive a cash award of $1,000 and a commemorative award.
ELIGIBILITY
Nominees must be a member of classified staff or professional faculty within the College of Agricultural Sciences. At the time of nomination, the nominees must have a minimum of three (3) years of service within the College of Agricultural Sciences.
CRITERIA
Evaluations will be based on the following criteria.
- Job performance as it exceeds normal expectations.
- Innovativeness.
- Willingness to accept new and/or extra activities.
- Evidence of favorable peer respect.
- Evidence of continued professional growth.
- University-related outside activities.
NOMINATION Materials:
In addition to the base nomination materials required for all awards (one (1) paragraph bio-summary, letter of nomination, and three (3) supporting letters), nomination packets must also include:
- The nomination materials should address the criteria above.
- Position description.
- A resume of professional activities and other relevant information.
Complete nomination packets (combined into one PDF document) should be emailed to CAS-Deans.Approval@oregonstate.edu no later than 5:00 pm on April 28, 2025. Corrections or updates to nomination packets will not be accepted after the nomination deadline.
