Solutions for complex issues. The Oregon State University Master of Natural Resources program is an interdisciplinary program designed for natural resources professionals. This 45-credit MNR program is delivered entirely online through Oregon State Ecampus – a nationally ranked provider of distance education.
Oregon State provides a pathway toward earning your MNR degree through seven graduate certificates – all delivered online. If you choose the certificate pathway, the credits you earn may meet your area of emphasis requirement within the MNR program.

A student wishing to be admitted to any graduate program at Oregon State University must complete an application form, pay the application fee, and submit photocopies of all official transcripts. International students must also submit recent TOEFL scores and certify sufficient funding to complete the required degree. Program Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any social or natural science field
- Degree should include basic courses in biology, ecology and economics
- A minimum 3.0 GPA
- Recommended background includes two years of natural resources-related work experience
